(this was an email I posted to the HML list as we discuss the upcoming 11* / Solstice work- I felt it worth spreading around because I believe in real magick aimed at real human evolution and because the more people focusing their lazar - Wills at something, the more likely it is to change...)

..... reading the NY Times today- what is happening in Iran is not just about Iran, it is a crack in the whole egg of theocracy vs democracy- and we all know how us free thinkers feel about patriarchal thocracy!
I say we all focus on this for the 11*/Solstice rites as we can- in Iran of course, but also across the world- LET PEOPLE BE FREE, LET THERE BE AN END TO RESTRICTION BY OLD AEON DESPOTIC SYSTEMS wherever they are!

The runes for this 11* are ISA ice and JERA the seasonal wheel- the fact that this falls on summer solstice means a lot to me-

The SUN of our will, of N'Aton Heru/Maat (Mother of the Sun remember) is breaking up the ICE of despotism....yea!

It wont happen in a week or a year, but evolution demands an end to the old restrictions...om ha!

Reading about the theocracy splitting apart today I also had a minor AHA moment realizing that if the right wing xians ever took control of our government, it would look A LOT like Iran except they would all be waving bibles instead of korans....not a huge leap
