I KNOW what it is- I did it- working in a salmon cannery
Being a slimer is the 9th circle of hell without the fun
Filthy, disgusting, smelly, disease-ridden
You ALWAYS smell like fish- you can NEVER get all the scales off you- EVERYTHING stinks- your sense of smell fades, no one wants to hang with you (and talk about a dampener on your sex life!!!) any any little scratch or cut you get- and you get a lot- gets infected and wont heal

groooo......

i once worked for 9 months on a turkey farm (imagine the crap smell; which was all but impossible to get off clothes and hair) artificially inseminating the lady birds, collecting eggs, shovelling shit and killing the birds at the end of their productive life

so sex, shit, death and some blood (the bastards peck hard)

but probably not a patch on salmon

Yeah, that's pretty awful. I never did anything nearly that bad. I heard a radio call in show once asking callers the worst job they'd ever had and the "winner" said he had worked in a slaughterhouse where his job was cutting the assholes out of slaughtered hogs. Apparently there's some kind of circular cut around it to remove tissue they don't want to use, or something.

I think the salmon gig would be even worse than that, though.

honestly I can't imagine worse than this- I would rather artificially inseminate monkeys than smell nothing but fish
